Ignore the first critique of this piece. I prefer Martin's hair in this drawing vastly than Oblivion's underwhelming hairstyle choices, because it's thick and wavy, which is typical for us Latins/Italians.

Also, a thousand thanks for not drawing him pale. He should be a dusty olive, and you captured that perfectly.

It's weird... I spend a lot of time staring at Martin Septim, like you do, and I didn't recognise this as him. Probably because his hair's shorter and curlier, and nose smaller than I'm used to seeing. I absolutely love your "Pondering", "Is That So", and "Please Don't Go" pics; and have even favourited some of your sketches that include your OC and her child. (Which is amazing, since I don't much care for heterosexual relationships!). But I dunno... this reminds me of Alice Cooper more than Martin Septim, which is strange.

I'm not trying to upset you in the slightest. Since I started writing fic (Martin/my OC, of course!) I've got awfully dependent on people's comments, and even some of my good friends have made suggestions that bothered me. I know it's easy to get depressed when you get a negative comment. I really don't want to dissuade you from your art, because this is technically a very good painting! He just doesn't look like what *I* think Martin looks like.
